Ashbourne have developed a communication platform for club owners to easily communicate with their members and prospects via sms text message and email. Text messages will be delivered via a mobile number direct to the members handset.
Emails will be delivered via the email address no-reply@newsfromyour.club members will not be able to reply to this address as its an unmanned account so club owners should include their own email address into any communications they send out.

Privacy Policy

Data Protection
1. The Customer and the Company will comply with the Data Protection Act in respect of all personal information processed and shared in connection with the discharge of their respective obligations under this Facilities Agreement.
2. The Customer is entitled to use the personal information of Members obtained by the Customer for the purpose of providing the Gym Services and will be a Data Controller in respect of the personal information for that purpose. This includes any biometric information when a Member or employee has consented to its processing. The biometric data will not be shared or transferred to a third party.
3. The Company will be entitled to use the Member's personal information obtained by the Customer for the purpose of providing the Membership Services and the payment collection services to the Member and will be a Data Controller in respect of this information. This does not include biometric information.
4. To the extent that the Company is solely a data processor for the Customer in respect of the personal information supplied by the Customer, the Company agrees that it will act only on instructions from the Customer as data controller and will comply with obligations equivalent to those imposed on a data controller.
5. To the extent that the Customer is solely a data processor for the Company in respect of the personal information collected by the Customer and supplied to the Company, the Customer agrees that it will act only on instructions from the Company as data controller and will comply with obligations equivalent to those imposed on a data controller.
6. The Customer and the Company agree to maintain the personal information of Members securely. To avoid inadvertent access and decrease the risk of deliberate malfeasance, where such information is retained in hard copy documents, such documents must be retained in a secure location; and where the information is stored electronically, it must be subject to adequate and effective access controls.
7. The Company will notify the Customer as soon as practicable and in any event within 7 days where it receives a subject access request directed to the Customer by a Member.
8. The Customer may request that the Company provides information in response to a subject access request from a Member directed to the Customer, in respect of personal information processed by the Company on the Customer's behalf. The Company is entitled to charge the Customer a reasonable fee for the provision of such information.
9. The Company will retain the personal information of Members after termination of this Facilities Agreement for a maximum period of 7 years for the purpose of responding to claims made under or in respect of the Direct Debit guarantee or the collection of sums by other payment methods. The personal information of Members will be securely deleted at the end of the period of retention.
10. The Customer will retain the personal information of Members after termination of this Facilities Agreement for a maximum period of 7 years for the purpose of making or responding to claims arising from the Membership Agreement or otherwise, except for any biometric data, which must be deleted as soon as possible after the termination or expiry of the Membership Agreement. The remaining personal information of Members will be securely deleted at the end of the period of retention.
